NurPath App — including its institutional offering, marketed as NurPath Education (NurPathED) — is operated by Global Corp US, Inc. ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use NurPath, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Unlike an earlier version of this policy, this version reflects what the app actually collects today — please read it even if you've seen a prior version.
Account information. If you create an account: your email address, and (for subscribers) your name, subscriber country, and age/grade range where provided.
Subscription and billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor Stripe collects your payment card details, billing name, and billing address directly — we do not receive or store your full card number. We do store your subscription tier, billing cycle, status, and a reference ID Stripe gives us for your subscription.
Institute/school information. If you apply on behalf of a school, we collect the institution's name, contact details, billing and operations contact information, approximate enrollment, and academic level.
Usage and analytics data. We use an analytics system to record how the app is used — for example, which pages you view, which quizzes you take and how you score, which habits you check off, and what you search for. This is tied to a session or account, not sold to advertisers.
Approximate location. When you visit the site, your browser requests your approximate city, region, and country from a third-party IP-lookup service (ipapi.co), based on your IP address at that moment. We do not store your raw IP address, and this is not precise GPS location.
Referral information. If you arrive via a link containing a referral code (e.g., ?ref=), we record that code so we can measure which outreach efforts are working.
Device and security information. Our hosting and security providers (Base44 and Cloudflare) automatically process technical information (such as browser type and request metadata) to operate the service and to detect bots and abuse.
Cookies and local storage. We use your browser's local storage (not third-party advertising cookies) to remember things like your session state, quiz progress, habit-tracking history, your daily reminder/notification preferences, and whether you've already been counted for a given visit. This data stays associated with your device/browser and is not sold to third parties. Daily reminder notifications, if you turn them on, are generated entirely by your own browser — your reminder settings are never sent to our servers.
To provide and personalize the app; to process payments and manage subscriptions; to detect and prevent abuse (e.g., fake form submissions); to send service communications (such as trial-ending reminders or payment receipts); and to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do share it with the service providers who help us run NurPath, each acting on our behalf:
We retain account and subscription data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics event data is retained by our analytics infrastructure provider for a limited period as configured on our plan, after which it is not accessible in identifiable form.
NurPath's individual and family plans are intended for users 13 years of age or older, who create and manage their own account.
For our institutional (school) offering: we understand that students using NurPath through a school may be under 13. For those students, accounts must be created and managed by the school (through an authorized teacher or administrator) or by a parent/guardian — never self-registered by a child under 13. By creating, approving, or managing access for a student under 13, the school or parent/guardian represents that they have the authority to do so and that any consent required under applicable law (such as COPPA in the United States) has been obtained, consistent with how schools may consent on behalf of parents for education-focused services used within the school context.
We do not knowingly allow a child under 13 to create an individual or family account directly, without school or parental involvement as described above.
You can review and update your account information, and request deletion of your account and associated data, via the Settings page in the app or by contacting us at the email below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information (such as access, correction, or deletion) under applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
NurPath is operated from the United States. If you use the app from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the most recent changes. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
